FAQ

The Charity-Trailrunning Event

  • What are the proceeds/registration fees used for?

The Alpin Team Trail is a purely charitable event. Thanks to the many volunteers and generous donations from sponsors, all expenses can be covered in advance. This means that the registration fees and proceeds from the event can be donated to families in emergency situations. The donations will be handed over by the organiser Alpin Team Austria. Information at: www.alpinteamaustria.at

The Trails

  • How are the Trails marked?

The trail route is marked with chalk spray, signs, ribbons and flags. However, there is no guarantee that the route will be continuously marked, which would make your own orientation in alpine terrain superfluous. Especially after dark, in heavy rain, snowfall or other unfavourable weather conditions, the markings may disappear, be covered or not be visible in time, which is why each participant must carry the route map with them. In addition, the GPS file for both routes are available for download (see download area). It is mandatory to carry a GPS device or a mobile phone with the respective GPX file for orientation. The (wilful) removal of markings by third parties cannot be ruled out. Immediately after the time limit has expired, the course markings will be removed in sections by the final runners. The course is therefore no longer marked after the time limit has expired.

  • How is the timekeeping done?

Timekeeping is carried out by Race Result Austria via an integrated chip in the start number. The race number must therefore be worn so that it is clearly visible.

  • What happens to my entry fee if the ATT has to be cancelled?

The cancellation of an event is never decided lightly. If it is not possible to hold the event safely due to bad weather (storm, heavy rain, etc.), for example, your registration will automatically be postponed to the following year. You are therefore registered for the same route in the following year without any additional time or fees. There is no refund of the entry fee.

  • Can I take a dog with me?

Dogs are not permitted on the ATT routes. Dogs must be kept on a lead in the start/finish area.

  • Can I change my registration for one distance to another?

Spectators Information

  • What is the best vantage point as spectator?

The best vantage point for spectators is the summit of the Bischling. A ride to the summit with the Bischling Ikarus 8-seater gondola (access right next to the ATT Festival area) allows spectators to reach the summit of the Bischling quickly and easily. This offers a marvellous panoramic view of both the K23 and K50 routes as well as the surrounding mountains.
